Salt Therapy ( My Mom’s Tip)


Salt therapy is a very effective method that my mom always uses at home. My mom uses this Salt therapy for back pain or frozen shoulder problems. She has been applying this therapy to me when I have a lot of back and neck pain issues. Salt therapy is very effective. Salt therapy has many health benefits and it is good pain reliever. Salt therapy is one of the best treatment options to consider for such types of Pains.

Salt therapy is a very effective pain reliever.  Salt therapy is a natural therapy and has no side- effects. I want to share my Mother’s Tip with all of you. I have experienced and witnessed how much this Salt therapy tip is useful and effective. Below are my mother’s tips on Salt therapy and how can we use this from the comfort of our own home.

Dry Salt Therapy



My mother use dry Salt for therapy for any type of body pain ( back, neck, shoulders). Take some dry Salt and a piece of clean cloth and make a bundle (potli) of it then put some dry Salt in it and tie it tightly. After that place the griddle or any flat pan on the stove and heat it. When a pan is heated ( not too much heated). Now lightly rub the bundle of Salt on it then quickly put the light heated bundle on the place where you have felt pain,  hold the hot Salt bundle over the affected part and press tightly on it. You can see the Salt remains some water in the bundle. Press it properly, until the heat reaches the bones.  This therapy relieves and reduce the pains and achces by regulating the flow of blood. Its also absorbing  toxins from the muscels. Salt therapy is very useful for pains around the neck, shoulders, low back, hip (Sciatica), calves and knee as well. Do this method again and again for 20- 30 min daily or till your pain goes away.

Salt Bath



Salt Bath is a traditional way of taking bath in the entire world. Firstly, clean yourself and take a shower, and remove dirt and perfume from your skin. Fill your tub with warm water and then add some salt to it. Warm water is easier to dissolve Salt. Soak 15- 20 min in once a week.

Himalayan Salt Lamp



Probably one of the simple Salt therapy is Himalayan Salt therapy. You can use Himalayan salt as well. Warm and soothing Himalayan Salt decors like Salt lamp, Salt brick, Salt Stone are very great therapy methods. Himalayan Salt lamps are also very beneficial. Himalayan Salt lamps lightning your room and release negative ions into the atmosphere from the heat generated by the light bulb in it. True Himalayan Salt Lamps come from khewra Salt Mine Pakistan.
